As a freelance motion designer, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Algolia, a leading provider of web search indexing solutions known for its speed and efficiency. My work focused on several ambitious projects aimed at enhancing the company’s communication and visibility through impactful animated content.
This collaboration with Algolia allowed me to explore different aspects of motion design—from marketing content to employer branding and large-scale event production. Throughout these projects, my goal was always to deliver a strong and memorable visual identity, capable of capturing attention and effectively conveying the brand’s key messages.
This collaboration with Algolia allowed me to explore different aspects of motion design—from marketing content to employer branding and large-scale event production.
One of my main challenges was creating short, impactful content for Algolia’s social media platforms. These videos were designed to highlight the speed and accuracy of their indexing technology, using smooth animations and dynamic visual storytelling. The goal was to make the technical concept more accessible while showcasing the power of Algolia’s solution.
Beyond product promotion, Algolia also entrusted me with the creation of internal and employer branding videos. These aimed to attract top talent to the company by highlighting its corporate culture, career opportunities, and work environment. Through motion design, we were able to convey Algolia’s energy and values in a modern and engaging way.
The most remarkable project of this collaboration was undoubtedly the creation of an event-driven advertisement displayed on four synchronized screens in Times Square, New York. This project, carried out for a trade show at the Minskoff Theatre, located at the intersection of Broadway and Times Square, was a unique opportunity to make a lasting impression with large-scale animation. Synchronizing the screens, selecting the visuals, and managing the pacing were all challenges that had to be met to ensure maximum impact in this iconic location.
