This project was a unique opportunity to showcase my expertise in animation and artistic direction, crafting an immersive video that perfectly captures the game’s retro-futuristic atmosphere.
- The goal of the teaser was to encapsulate the essence of Retrowave World in a few striking seconds. To achieve this, I used Blender to design a fluid and stylized 3D animation. My work included:
Cinematic scene direction:
- choosing camera angles, composing shots, and managing pacing for maximum impact.
Vehicle animation:
- modeling and animating cars in a neon-lit urban environment, with dynamic and realistic motion.
Visual effects and color grading:
- applying lighting effects, reflections, and post-processing to enhance the synthwave atmosphere and give the teaser a cinematic look.
- I also created Midnight Sunshine, the soundtrack of the teaser, a synthwave-like track blended wit guitars and a bit of techno :)
